We recently enhanced the social media sharing tools available in InkSoft as you can see from this blog posting. You can see a live example here. We thought we’d take this one step further and add social sharing to the Design Studio.

I like this a lot. a lot of people had been contacting me asking for this exact feature. I appreciate you guys and gals hard work over there.
FANTASTIC! would that button take place of the ‘e-mail design’? if so i would make the button say ‘share/e-mail design’ so they don’t get confused. that will be really great!

I think this is great. I can’t tell you how many customers use the “email design” to friend, and then misspell the email to the friend. I get about 5 to 7 notifications of that error each an every day.
A BIG SUGGESTION would be to maybe have the person input the Email 2x. I have seen other sites do this where they put a “Confirm Email Again to make sure they match. I think this would also help a whole bunch and lead to more sales.

I understand why you would want to have someone enter their e-mail twice, but as a consumer, i hate doing that.
I’ll second that James! Most of the time I just copy and past.
I think it’s a great idea. If users need to create an account on the site to save and share, we can capture their data and increase our marketing efforts by adding them to email blasts with user-only specials, discounts and purchase incentives. Thanks!
