Will it have the ability to offer 2 color names and numbers. We do alot of this for travel teams and clubs.
Not it the first release. We plan on expanding this in the future but for now we are keeping it simple–we modeled our workflow after customink’s.
With the name and number section include enveloping to keep all name the same length?
Heath:
This is just a preview and doesn’t dynamically show the names / numbers. It works just like customink’s tool.
Will we have the options to not offer certain fonts if we think they will give us problems cutting?
Are we going to have the ability to make the colors available for the names and numbers, different from the colors for printing? This is a major problem we’re dealing with right now. Because our names and numbers are heat pressed with a material, which has a limited number of colors to choose from. i know customink.com worked out this issue, as they offer separate color palettes for printing and name/number pressing.
No, not in the first release. Again, we have modeled this after Customink–We need to keep it simple to begin!
I see, but Customink is capable of this. They offer seperate color palletes for screen print, and seperate color palettes for names and numbers.
is this so they can select just a name or just a number also?
another thing to think about, when you get the embroidery live, we have a lot of customers that get their names embroidered on items. usually they want it on the opposite side of their logo on the front.
This goes without saying…. but its really important that when they see how much names and numbers will cost. Customink clearly lists names: x$ and Numbers: x$
Put that inside that window where customer is setting up their names and numbers! This is very important!!!!!!!!!
Also, another equally important point. 6 inch number is cheaper than 10 inch number….inksoft needs to be able to price accordingly. So we need to be able to assign this value on the backend so the program can parse accordingly.
