Online Stores Update: Password Protect a Store
We’re pleased to announce the latest update to the new Online Stores platform: Password protection! This is the ideal solution for your customers who want privacy, or who need to restrict access to their store, such as companies providing branded gear to their employees.
You can password protect a store through the store builder, or after creation through the store settings, accessible through Edit Mode. Passwords must be at least 6 characters in length. For most purposes, we recommend keeping the password simpler so that the intended buyers can remember it easily.
