New Stores Component: Promo Bar
New component alert! Built for the new Online Stores platform, the Promo Bar is the perfect tool for alerting store visitors about sales announcements, promotional codes, and other store-specific communication.
The Promo Bar is a full-width bar that stays “sticky” at the top of the page throughout your store. It’s mobile responsive, so you can rest assured it’ll look great no matter what device your customers are using.
To use a Promo Bar in one of the new Online Stores, go to the store and enable Edit Mode. From there, click the blue Add button in the bottom right corner to add a new component. Once you’ve selected “Promo Bar,” you’ll be able to customized its background color and text formatting. You can even add a link, which is perfect if you’re promoting a certain product or want to link to an external page.
Right now, this text in this component can be left aligned, right aligned, or centered. In the future, we’ll be adding new layouts to make it even more flexible for your business needs.
