Mini carts represent new shopping cart techniques used by the largest and most successful online etailers. The purpose of the “˜Mini Cart’ is to educate a shopper that their items have been successfully added to cart, and that they are free to continue shopping. The real marketing value is boosting the likelihood that shoppers will add more products to cart as they aren’t delivered to the checkout screen immediately after adding items to their cart.
