Will inksoft 2.0 have a different pricing option when setting up screen printing pricing? It’s cool what your doing, but screen printing pricing with additional locations is more imprtant for us right now.
HTML5 is NOT standard yet. It is amazing technology and will most certainly replace Flash and Javascript. Problem is not all browsers full support Canvas elements. The same is true of CSS3. We are all over, and fully aware of new technology…but need to be careful about how and when it is deployed.
Looks awesome…. Do you have a realistic launch date for this? Will we automatically get this on our stores or will we have to install it?
Keep up the great work!
Thanks Jim! We don’t have a date yet…but soon. We are testing and debuggin now. All new InkSoft features and enhancements are release automagically. No downloads or installs ever!
This would be a good time (before release) to review and add some recurring ‘added feature’ requests. There are a LOT of feature requests in the forum that should be reviewed before 2.0 is released. There seems to be a lot of interest in having these features: (1) add a check box in the Design Studio that states that by clicking this box, that the design is not a copyrighted design; (2) have a drop down menu to have dimensions displayed in inches OR pixels OR mm, etc. Since I don’t screen print– I only DTG – I would never want to see a section where a customer HAD to pick the number of colors in a design. For DTG – that would not make sense.
Currently we support pricing by number of colors. As for location: We allow you to discount multiple side prints. So, you can set a standard, then discount from that for any additional sides.

Pricing per location is on our to-do list!
Please hurry:)
COOL!! When is “soon” ?
We are hopeful for a release next week. With software…its hard to tell.
will 2.0 be written in HTML5?

What about “undo/redo” buttons?
We’ve been told by the nerds that the release will likely have one undo level. Fingers crossed!

We’ve been prepping our site to launch soon, so very much looking forward to the new design elements coming into play! Screen caps look good so far.

Going back to (John Martin’s post) Has the screen printing pricing been updated? per location and by color?
