Help us help you. Design Studio Explainer Videos.
Recently, we’ve had requests to create unbranded stock ‘explainer’ videos for use in educating your shoppers and customers on how to use the InkSoft Design Studio. We’d be happy to create a general library of these videos; however, we need your help in understanding what you’d like communicated.
The sample video above is a quick example we created to illustrate what the end result might look like.
You should know that the InkSoft Design Studio has a feature which allows you to display a custom youtube video in the Design Studio ‘greet box’ as seen here.
Want to help? Please contribute your ideas using the commenting function below. We will compile ideas and begin to create and release videos. Ideally, we will discover an agreed upon ‘standard script’ presentation. Once this is developed, InkSoft will invest in professional voice talent to read the script.
Keep in mind that in order to be effective, the videos must be short (less than 30 seconds) and concise.
Beyond these general stock videos, who would be interested in a tips and tools to create custom videos?
Our site will feature what you term promotional products, plates, platters, glasses, mugs, etc. Many of our webstores will be for groups such as alumni clubs, booster clubs, etc. and the members will individually access the site and decorate their products. As opposed to store owners, these users will not have experience using the design studio. We anticipate that most clients will upload their favorite photos and add text as opposed to working with the clip art or designs although some surely will.
We would like to have a video which emphasizes that the quality of the photo is key to a well printed finished product. It should be stressed that just because a photo looks good on the computer, if it is not large enough and does not have enough pixels it will print blurry. Paying attention to the print quality color meter is vital.
It would also be helpful to instruct how to pull and place the image and text and to emphasize any area not covered with the photo will be white.
